Grades and forms

Additives are specified by active content, chemistry (for example silicone or organic antifoam, polyacrylate dispersant), viscosity and form. Many are blends, so the best match is usually found from your current product name, application and dose rate. Send those details and we will look for an equivalent.

Packaging and delivery

Depending on the product and quantity, additives can be supplied in pails, drums, totes (IBCs) or bulk truck, and dry additives in bags or supersacks. We confirm packaging and freight on each quote. NTC ships to customers across the United States and internationally, and lead time and freight are confirmed on each quote.

How do I choose between a silicone and an organic antifoam?

Silicone antifoams are very effective at low dose but can leave residue in some coatings or food processes. Organic types suit those cases. Tell us your system and we will advise.

Can you supply a blend instead of a single additive?

Yes. NTC offers custom blending, so we can combine additives to your formulation. See our blending services.

Can you match my current additive?

Send the product name, supplier or data sheet and the use. We will look for an equivalent and confirm the details.

How is pricing set?

Can I get the SDS and specification?

Yes. Ask for the Safety Data Sheet and specification or certificate of analysis when you request a quote.

Can you get better pricing on bulk additives and modifiers?

Often, yes. NTC combines your order with our other clients' volume to secure bulk pricing most companies can't get on their own, and passes the savings directly to you.
