Polymers & Resins Supplier & Distributor

Polymers are long-chain molecules built from repeating units, and resins are polymers or polymer precursors that harden into a solid. They are the basis of coatings, adhesives, sealants, plastics and water treatment programs. NTC lists water-soluble polymers for water treatment, silicone and other resins, polyglycols, and the acrylic monomers used to make polymers.

NTC supplies polymers & resins through chemical distribution and can include them in formulations through custom blending and toll manufacturing. Browse the list below or request a quote.

  • Paints, coatings, adhesives and sealants (resins and acrylic monomers)
  • Lubricants, humectants and plasticizers (polyglycols)
  • Heat- and weather-resistant coatings (silicone resins)
  • Thickening and suspension (gums)
  • Polymer and copolymer manufacture (monomers)

Industries we supply

Customers buy polymers & resins from NTC in Water Treatment, Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, Elastomers & Plastics, Chemical Manufacturing, Lubricants & Metalworking, Home Care & Industrial Cleaning. See all industries we serve.

Grades and forms

Polymers are specified by molecular weight, charge, solids content and form (dry powder, emulsion or solution). Monomers contain inhibitors and need controlled storage. Send the grade, molecular weight or product name you use today and we will find a match.

Packaging and delivery

Depending on the product and quantity, polymers and resins can be supplied in bags, pails, drums, totes (IBCs) or bulk truck. Monomers are regulated and need temperature care, so we confirm packaging and freight on each quote. NTC ships to customers across the United States and internationally, and lead time and freight are confirmed on each quote.

Polymers & resins FAQ

What are anionic, cationic and nonionic polymers?

They describe the electrical charge on the polymer. The right charge for water treatment depends on the particles you are removing, and is usually found by testing.

Can you match a polymer I buy today?

Send the product name, supplier or data sheet. We will look for an equivalent, and testing at your plant is recommended before you switch.

Are acrylic monomers hazardous?

They are flammable, reactive and have strong odors, and must be inhibited and stored as directed in the Safety Data Sheet.

How is pricing set?

Pricing is by quote, based on product, grade, quantity, packaging and delivery location. Request a quote online or call 704-659-3682.

Can I get the SDS and specification?

Yes. Ask for the Safety Data Sheet and specification or certificate of analysis when you request a quote.

Can you get better pricing on bulk polymers & resins?

Often, yes. NTC combines your order with our other clients' volume to secure bulk pricing most companies can't get on their own, and passes the savings directly to you.
