Grades and forms
Origin, purity and grade vary by product and by producer: a vegetable fatty acid may come from canola, palm, soy or sunflower, and gums and waxes are specified by viscosity, melting point or color. Tell us the raw-material origin you require and any documentation you need, and we will check with the producer what can be supplied.
Packaging and delivery
Depending on the product and quantity, these products can be supplied in bags, pails, drums, totes (IBCs) or bulk truck. NTC ships to customers across the United States and internationally, and lead time and freight are confirmed on each quote. Are these products certified sustainable?
NTC does not make sustainability or certification claims on this site. We list products by raw-material origin as described by the producers. If you need a specific certification or bio-based content figure, ask when you request a quote and we will check what documentation exists.
What does plant-derived mean?
That the main raw material comes from plants, such as vegetable oils, guar beans or pine resin, rather than from petroleum or minerals. It does not by itself say anything about environmental impact.
Can you supply a bio-based alternative to a product I use now?
Send the product name and application. We will look for plant-derived options from our list and tell you how they differ in performance.
How is pricing set?
Pricing is by quote, based on product, grade, quantity, packaging and delivery location. Request a quote online or call 704-659-3682.
Can I get the SDS and specification?
Yes. Ask for the Safety Data Sheet and specification or certificate of analysis when you request a quote.
Can you get better pricing on bulk sustainable products?
Often, yes. NTC combines your order with our other clients' volume to secure bulk pricing most companies can't get on their own, and passes the savings directly to you.
