Grades and forms
Process aids are specified by chemistry, particle or pore size, active content and form, for example granular carbon by mesh size and iodine number. Send your specification or current product and we will check what is available.
Packaging and delivery
Depending on the product and quantity, process aids can be supplied in bags, supersacks, pails, drums, totes (IBCs) or bulk. We confirm packaging and freight on each quote. NTC ships to customers across the United States and internationally, and lead time and freight are confirmed on each quote.
Process aids FAQ
What is the difference between a coagulant and a flocculant?
A coagulant neutralizes the charge on fine particles so they clump. A flocculant, usually a polymer, then binds those clumps into larger flocs that settle or filter out.
How do I choose an activated carbon?
It depends on what you are removing, flow, contact time and whether the carbon is regenerated or used once. Tell us the application and we will suggest options.
Can you supply media in bulk bags?
Often yes. We confirm package options for each product on the quote.
How is pricing set?

Can I get the SDS and specification?
Yes. Ask for the Safety Data Sheet and specification or certificate of analysis when you request a quote.
Can you get better pricing on bulk process aids?
Often, yes. NTC combines your order with our other clients' volume to secure bulk pricing most companies can't get on their own, and passes the savings directly to you.
