Plasticizers Supplier & Distributor

Plasticizers are added to plastics, most often PVC, to make them softer, more flexible and easier to process. They also play a role in coatings, sealants, adhesives and rubber. The main families are phthalates, non-phthalate alternatives such as terephthalates, adipates, citrates and benzoates, and higher-molecular-weight polymeric and trimellitate types used where low migration or heat resistance matters.

NTC supplies plasticizers through chemical distribution and can include them in formulations through custom blending and toll manufacturing. Browse the list below or request a quote.

Grades and forms

Plasticizers are liquids specified by purity, color, acid number and viscosity. Selection depends on the polymer, compatibility, volatility, migration limits and any regulation for the finished product. Tell us your application and, where relevant, the regulations that apply, and we will suggest products from our list.

Packaging and delivery

Depending on the product and quantity, plasticizers can be supplied in drums, totes (IBCs), flexibags or bulk truck. We confirm packaging and freight on each quote. NTC ships to customers across the United States and internationally, and lead time and freight are confirmed on each quote.

Plasticizers FAQ

What is a phthalate-free plasticizer?

A plasticizer that is not a phthalate ester, for example a terephthalate such as DOTP, an adipate, a citrate, a benzoate or DINCH. Which one fits depends on your polymer and the regulations for your product.

Can you match the plasticizer I use now?

Send the product name, supplier or data sheet. We will look for an equivalent grade and confirm the details.

Are some phthalates restricted?

Yes. Some are restricted in certain products such as toys, childcare articles and food contact. Check the rules for your end use, and ask us for the Safety Data Sheet and specification.

How is pricing set?

Pricing is by quote, based on product, grade, quantity, packaging and delivery location. Request a quote online or call 704-659-3682.

Can I get the SDS and specification?

Yes. Ask for the Safety Data Sheet and specification or certificate of analysis when you request a quote.

Can you get better pricing on bulk plasticizers?

Often, yes. NTC combines your order with our other clients' volume to secure bulk pricing most companies can't get on their own, and passes the savings directly to you.
